My husband keeps asking about a very cosmetic surgery we may eventually opt for for our daughter (minimizing a huge birthmark on her face) and I have no idea how doctors deal with children this young for such procedures and would like to hear about your experience.

We got a pack of newborn disposables from the hospital and never even finished them - I actually gifted them to another friend in May. I love cloth diapers (we use Bumgenius but had a newborn sized cloth diaper to start) and one advantage of a one-size cloth diaper is that Hulk and his sisters can actually share diapers (you just fix the snaps when you put the diaper on). I've seen friends with 2 children do this and it seems so much easier than remembering to pack 2 different size diapers in every diaper bag.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15243054875237959038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5968041563920742433.post-22179551974645880822009-08-05T16:27:57.340-04:002009-08-05T16:27:57.340-04:00Totally agree with Jen - it's just part of the...Totally agree with Jen - it's just part of the routine. I used newborn size disposables until he outgrew those, then we switched to cloth. I use disposables when we're out of the house (or at daycare), and I still think we save a lot of money.Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335915683875653154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5968041563920742433.post-39790864080515752682009-08-05T12:17:06.359-04:002009-08-05T12:17:06.359-04:00Sending happy thoughts your way! Our investment is definitely paid off. Let me know if you have questions about what we use/how it works. We did use disposables for the first month or so.Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08584558899046916488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5968041563920742433.post-64332568921493982032009-08-05T12:11:42.419-04:002009-08-05T12:11:42.419-04:00Good luck tomorrow! (The rbeastfeeding was a nightmare). but with 3 in diapers for so much longer if it saves money then you have to go for it!SShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02853957801933638507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5968041563920742433.post-58630393254452200432009-08-05T12:04:02.055-04:002009-08-05T12:04:02.055-04:00I'm thinking good thoughts for tomorrow for yo...I'm thinking good thoughts for tomorrow for you.

Yes, I do love the cloth. We've already paid off our investment in them by not buying disposables. I definitely recommend getting the adjustable size ones. We did disposables for the first month or so, until we were more into the swing of things. But now, using cloth doesn't seem like extra work because I've gotten enough of a routine down that I barely notice it.HereWeGoAJenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17457680345376171720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5968041563920742433.post-57486645419163294172009-08-05T11:58:16.527-04:002009-08-05T11:58:16.527-04:00You can also toss or compost gDiapers. They are also a bit better than cloth in regards to diaper rashes.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11147338714448187140noreply@blogger.com
