I've always known.

Do you gals ever do this? Get your palm read? I've done it numerous times in my life - and have pretty much gotten the exact same message each time. I have a strong 'leadership' line (or something like that), I would have a long, happy marriage, and I would have 3 children.

Now, I've kind of ignored the 3 children part. I really always thought I'd have 2. And figured I could control that through birth control (ah, the innocence of pre-IF). As I had the ectopic and the miscarriage, and then Hulk - I wondered if on my palm - the 2 previous pregnancies 'counted', and we'd just have Hulk. I'd told Aaron about my palm readings, and we joked that when we went for our second baby (and if I'm honest, Aaron wasn't sold yet on having a second. He is totally in love with Hulk, and was thinking that 'one and done' was a good strategy. But now, he is really excited about the new babies.) we'd need to be careful. You know, because I would probably have twins, based on having my palm read.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

So, when I showed him the pee stick, in the back of his head, Aaron already knew it was twins. He wasn't even surprised when he saw the two of them on that first ultrasound. And, I know a few of you mentioned when I first announced it was twins that I was pretty zen about the whole thing. I guess that's because I've always known.

I had my palm read once. In general, I don't believe that stuff. But...

At the time, some of the stuff she said resonated with me, but she was someone I knew so I figured she could just be going off of what she knew about me.

But then she told me the following: my long term relationship had recently ended. Now that it was over, I would have three relationships with men that were meaningful to me. The first two wouldn't work out because of distance. The third would be the person I'd end up with.

I had already met J and it hadn't worked out because he lived 1000 miles away. I later dated R, but we didn't make it in large part because he was deployed to Iraq.

My next meaningful relationship was III, my husband.

Hmmmm....

Isn't funny? I love intuition. Funny thing is, I've been thinking about doing a similar post, only it involves card reading. So it cracked me up to see this post from you today. I guess we're all on the same brain wave in blogland right now. I will probably post mine this weekend.

I love watching your babies in the bubble change and grow. I loved watching mine when I was pg. Its just so cool to see two in yours!

Wow! That's crazy!

To be honest, I'm too scared to get my palm read. I want to know my futre, but then again I don't. Is that weird?

I got mine read once, when I was probably about 20. One of those cheap down the shore on the boardwalk ones. At the time I was with my long term BF. Me, the ex, a friend and my BFF (now hubby) were just hanging and I decided to get it done.

I was told that I wasn't going to marry the ex, and that someone close to us was going to steal me away from him. I was told that I would have 3 children, but I wouldn't have them right away, and that it would take a little time. I was also told something about my career, but I can't for the life of me remember.

I wish I could find that lady again, because I wanna see when my babies are coming, AND if they are all going to come in one shot (I've been having triplet dreams for a while now) lol.

I have never had my palm ready, but i've always wanted to.

I tried to get pregnant for 10 months before i finally did. Then G and i went to his moms for a week and while there the timing was right so we of course had to have sex.

Then my dad passed away at the end of my trip. When i went to his funeral my sister Heidi kept saying 'i have this strong feeling your pregnant now that dad's gone'. I didn't believe her since we had tried for a while with no success (not even a misscarriage or ectopic preg, nothing) and i wasnt' ovulating or getting my periods on a regular basis. But she kept saying she just had a feeling. And sure enought 15 days after he passed away i got the positive HPT!! I always think my dad had something to do with it. I feel him watching over me and my pregnancy.

So maybe sometimes people just have a gift or a feeling about or lives, even if we don't!!

I'm going to come out and say this only because this is the second post about getting your palm read and the "future" being correct.

I met with a psychic when J and I were JUST married. We were thinking about kids at that point, but weren't trying.

When I asked about kids, she told me that she didn't see them in my life for a while, but when I did have kids, there would be two boys. "Twins," she said, "but they might not come together."

I came away from it thinking that it was a waste of money. We were trying the NEXT MONTH! And how the heck could you have twins that didn't come together?

Enter IF. Took us more than three years to bring home our son. And then IVF. We have two blastocysts frozen from the cycle which gave us Baby O. They were all fertilized at the same time, which means they're "twins."

That's why I don't think I'll have an "oops" pregnancy. And why I think that my next baby will be a boy. From one of those two blastocysts.

Course, by saying this out loud I could be jinxing it... :P

My husband and I knew the girls were going to be twins too. We were not a BIT surprised when they showed up on the ultrasound (I think the tech was shocked that were were so calm! lol). We were like "Yup, there they are!". We almost passed out when they found the triplet though. =)
