Not those colors for sure. I'm still thinking of that red rug from Ikea (which I'm not finding on the website? Time to panic?!?) for the floor - so I was thinking red, pink, white and brown dots? Or maybe go crazy and do red/purple? I like the white and brown dots in there, since the furniture is a dark brown....but then I'm not sure about the paint color. I like the two-tone wall. If I do the red and pink - off white and pink? Or maybe light brown and pink? Or if it's purple, off white and purple? Help?!?ETA: Here is some super awesome paint mock ups to assist opinions. I had trouble getting a decent 'light brown' color on paint...

I like the purple and red together. Elizabeth has a pair of purple and red striped tights and it is a great combination.
I am a fan of pink and brown. I like browns, in general, though.
My twins have a white and red with a chair rail separating it.

I love the pink and red. You know I wouldn't pick the purple. Actually, they are both nice and I am sure the room will be great.
I'm not much of a red fan, but I love pink and brown together. I also wanted to say that Lillian loves her dots and butterflies on the walls. She stares and talks to them ALL the time!

Ooohh fun! I like the first picture. I love the green and brown. But I also like the pink and red dots. Oh that's a hard decision to make! I can't wait to see it! it's going to look GREAT!

I think red pink brown and white dots and a go crazy and do a brown wall. I know you're probably like too dark, but i'm partial to anything brown. You could do like a caramel light brown solid below dots... and if you really insist on teh red rugm just accent the room with some red. Man its gonna be awesome whatever colors you decide on girl, you know that! xoxoxoxo

I like the pink but not a big fan of pink and red together. Could you pick some other color instead of the red?
Take a look at wall decals (try google) you can get all sorts of dots and change them easily and inexpensively to try different looks. It is pretty amazing what you can find in decals. Have fun!
Although I love pink/brown colors for kids stuff...I really love the idea of changing it up a bit with the purple/brown!
