Doing well

Tomorrow is going to be a rough day - but I think a good day. The memorial service for Nora is tomorrow, and I feel like it will help, but also just be a hard, hard day. You all have helped make it better by sending some beautiful flowers - and I must thank you all for that. It was just signed the ALI community - so a big hug to you all!

Maggie is doing beautifully. She eats about every 3 hours, and gives us a big lusty cry when she is ready for attention, which we love to hear. The only issue she has is a pretty nasty diaper rash as she had diarrhea from the IV antibiotics. But that is clearing up really well too. Today, I took out the vibrating seat that we used with Cameron - thinking I would maybe put her down in it. Aaron came into the room and laughed at me around 4 PM this afternoon - he said 'Good job using that seat today, babe' - as this is where Maggie spent her day:

That is my lap.

Lots of hugs to you and Aaron and Cameron and Maggie. Will be thinking about you tomorrow.

Just an aside.....if her diaper rash doesn't clear up or gets worse, she might have a yeast infection....girls tend to get them more than boys. Try Lamisil and it will clear it right up, especially since she had those antibiotics.

Oh Cece! We all love you so much. So sorry that Baby Nora has passed. Please know that you are loved and you are safe. Nora will hold a place in our hearts forever, as she is your daughter. You have such a strong will, determination and huge amount of love- it is awesome. Please give Hulk and Maggie kisses from me.

Sister- I love you and your family.

You are an amazing woman, with out a doubt.

Sending a lot of love and will be thinking of you all, especially Nora.

For the butt rash, Bobby had a serious one and we used Triple Paste. Cleared it right up.

she is gorgeous. If the rash doesnt clear up, try cloth diapers, some babies are extremely sensitive to the chemicals in the sposies

Awww, sweet picture. And like Sara said, it won't last forever, so cuddle all you want.

I didn't read this until Sat night, so I'm hoping the memorial service went okay for you.

For diaper rash - shea butter works well, and my son's daycare teacher said she's had several kids who do better in store-brand diapers (WalMart, specifically), because they're less perfumey.
