Something I've found comfort in today is remembering that without great love, you wouldn't have sorrow. My heart is filled with a mixture of sadness and love and joy - and I am thankful to have celebrated Hulk's first birthday today.

Happy Birthday big guy! You wow me every time I am around you. You have the perfect disposition and are so inquisitive and wise beyond your year(s). This weekend we were driving home, just the two of us after your doctor's appointment and you were happily chilling in the back seat watching the trees go by and "talking". You must have told a pretty funny joke because you all of a sudden let out a glorious belly laugh. That's just the kind of guy you are. Happy.
I could just gobble you up, but I won't - although the red hair makes it tempting.
