Death by Girl Scout Cookie

Yesterday, I wanted something sweet. I look in the cabinet, and I found Tag-a-longs (peanut butter and chocolate girl scout cookies). I have no idea when we got these - but they were at least a year old... if not 2. But seriously, can cookies go bad?

The answer to that question is YES. I've been throwing up since 6 PM last night. Aaron had to stay home from work to take care of Hulk. I feel like ass.

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon.

I would have eaten them too. I once cooked and ate pasta that was ten years past its expiration date. (I did not get sick, for the record.)

Ugh. It ist possible they were part of the peanut recall? Salmonella is pretty brutal. I think you can look it up on the FDA website.

I am thinking along those same lines, it's got to be the Salmonella regardless of whether it's on the list. Seriously, GS cookies last forever!

Don't worry Girl Scout Cookies are not effected by the peanut butter recall but just like the peanut butter in a jar it does get old and turns bad- Didn't it taste bad?
