All is good

Babies seem to be doing fine - the doc heard two different heartbeats, one at 152 and one at 158! I've lost a pound (trust me, I'm not trying) and my BP was good. We went over a bunch of my questions. A VBAC is an option, but he is concerned about my scar and the fact that he likes to see a year between pregnancies. But he said we won't even talk about that for a while. They can look at my scar hopefully on the 35 week u/s and get a better idea of how it healed. I'll also need to go into labor on my own (which I didn't do with Hulk). So - we will have a scheduled c-section at 39 - 40 weeks (he won't let me go over 40 weeks with twins), and just roll with it otherwise. Which is the best plan. I'm glad he didn't rule out a VBAC completely.

I'm also going to get an u/s next week (maybe we'll find out the genders!) and another in 6 weeks. That one in 6 weeks will be viewed by a high risk doc to be sure everything looks good. After that, I'll be getting an u/s every month to check on the growth. I'll also be getting non stress tests twice a week after 32 weeks. So, I'm off to see the doc a lot in the future. Goodie.

At least the doc office is close to my house, and my boss doesn't mind if I work from home.

Oh! And I also get to stop the progesterone. Hurrah!

In the last half of my pregnancy with the twins, I was truly excited for appointments, it meant I could leave the house and get dressed. LOL!

Glad to hear you have some nice strong heartbeats.

My babies' heartbeats yesterday were almost identical -- 151 and 158.

I can't believe your doc is talking about going past 40 weeks! I can't even imagine making it to full term.

Hooray for stopping the progesterone! I don't miss it at all.
