Dress Input please

I love this dress. I want to get it to wear to a friend's (afternoon, outdoor) wedding.

Thoughts? Remembering that I'm MUCH larger than the model (but this is from etsy - so the woman is doing a custom size for me). I think it'll look great on a plus sized person, but double-checking with my peeps. I'm thinking that my boobs will ROCK in this dress and the fun poofy skirt is a good thing - any fashionistas out there to help me?

Love it! That dress is very figure-friendly, I think, with the poofy skirt. My only concern for myself would be being too busty, but you could have her make the bodice a little higher if you are concerned about that too? Regardless, I think it's great!

I want to be as awesomely daring as you.

In fact, when I go dress shopping for a wedding we have to go to, I think I'm going to channel my inner Cece and get something in a COLOR. :)

It's a long way of saying I LOVE it. Especially for an outdoor afternoon summer wedding.

I think it's awesome - love the red. Is this for a wedding in the US or the one in India?

P.S. Loved the message this weekend :)

I think it is fantabulous! I agree that your boobs will look delightful. I personally might hesitate on the fire engine red, as I am one of those people who worries about being fancier than the bride, and let's face it, that dress is disturbingly AWESOME.

Gorgeous! This is a great cut for a plus size gal. Great way to show off your assets and curves while having fun. I think it would be fabulous! :-)

I am not a fashionista that is for sure. What I am is a curvy plus size girl also and I think this dress is HOT!

I want a dress like this! You do not have to disclose but having this kick ass dress made is it going to cost a small fortune? Because for real I would so buy one also!

I'm no fasionista but I ADORE that dress and I agree, I think it could look quite flattering on a plus sized figure. Extra bonus that she can make it to whatever size you like.

My vote is yes.

I think the tight-on-top, flaring-on-bottom style looks good on everyone (I think that's why it's the style so many wedding dresses are made in). Like Lisa, I'd just want to make sure the bodice was high enough to cover you. But it is an awesome dress!

I love it!

My caveat is make sure you have something to cover your shoulders, if any part of the wedding is inside. We went to an outside summer wedding a few years ago and I roasted. Then we moved inside for the reception and I FROZE.

It looks like the fitted bodice ends at the waist (not at a lower hip level like many wedding dresses). With my short busty figure, a poofy skirt that projects from the waist leaves me looking like a powder puff. But maybe you're tall and could pull it off?

I love it. Very figure flattering. Halters are great for larger sizes because they emphasize the chest and shoulders and balance the hips. I would accessorize with some turquoise. Maybe earrings, clutch or shoes, but not all 3. That extra pop of color will make you look striking.

I agree with others and love the dress. I am concerned about the halter top (bare shoulders) and color red for a daytime wedding. I suppose it depends on where the wedding will be (and is the ceremony at a church) but if you where a shrug or maybe a cute cardigan, then that will solve the bare shoulders. Only you can determine if red is fitting for the venue/vibe of the wedding of this couple.

I would love to know which etsy vendor it is, though, as it is a dress I might like for myself :)

I've never commented, but the dress got me. Very similar to the dresses here,http://www.trashydiva.com/site/indexSHOP.html, which I recommend for all figure types. I have one and always look at the other styles but when I saw your dress just thought I'd recommend Trashy Diva!

That dress would look divine on you! I am plus-sized too, and would have to have some sort of cap-sleeve or shrug added, because I don't have great arms. I'd love to see pics of you in it if you get it!

I think you mentioned a wedding in India. Too bad we aren't neighbors, I'd sure be glad to loan you one of my saris... I had them brought from India for me by friends who were on visits home.
